Tom Burre is a recent transplant to the Bay Area. He is the former Assistant Executive Director at Electronic Music Foundation in Albany , New York , and holds a B.A. in Music from the University at Albany , State University of New York. He taught guitar at Drome Sound Music Studios and general music for the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Co. "Art Break". He has been a primary beta tester and demonstrator for sound design software GRM Tools. His music productions and performances have earned him "Best Guitarist Making A Statement" and "Critics Album of the Year" ("Metroland", Albany, NY, 2000-2002).
From beginner to advanced levels, I work one on one with students to utilize individual potential on guitar. Lessons can focus on music theory, reading, transcription, song writing and improvisation... along with learning how to play your favorite songs. If interested, lessons also explore technology in music production and performance.
